Peanut Butter Blossoms

Servings 12 cookies

Ingredients :

  • 6oz Butter
  • 100 g Granulated sugar
  • 120 g Brown sugar
  • 180 g Peanut butter, Creamy
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Large egg
  • 200 g AP Flour
  • 3/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 120 g Sugar, for coating.

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 370ºF
  • In a small bowl, whisk together Flour, baking soda & powder, and salt.
  • Cream peanut butter, butter and sugars on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
  • Mix in egg and vanilla until fully combined.
  • Add dry ingredients and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Scoop dough and toss in sugar.
  • Bake for 8-10 min or until edges are golden brown.
  • Immediately after pulling them from the oven, stamp with a chocolate kiss.
  • Let cool completely before enjoying.

Notes

Cookie dough can be stored air tight in the freezer for up to 2 months, without sugar coating.

Can substitute chocolate kiss with a “thumbprint” of ganache or fudge.
